Coolscan V Ed Need To Scan Old 35mm Slides And Film?

Need to scan old 35mm slides and film? - coolscan v ed

This question has already been asked and it was recommended the Epson 4490th Comments I have read state is not compatible with Vista, it works my system. The Nikon Coolscan V ED has been recommended, even compatible with Vista. What scanners.Obviously HP does not want to spend much money, but the quality needs.
Please help!
